Vision: Realization of social peace, solidarity and change through the participation and leadership of the youth.
Reason: In Turkey, civil society is not as active as in western countries. The alternative voice raised by civil society is not yet fully accepted as legitimate in Turkey. Youth is evaluated as “irresponsible and untrustworthy”. CVF aims to change this inaccurate prejudice and pave the way to young volunteers. CVF believes that given the opportunity, the youth is capable of taking responsibilities. According to the State Institute of Statistics (SIS), the population of young people aged 17-24 years is almost 20% of the total population of Turkey.
Purpose: To mobilize young people towards social responsibility projects and enhance democratic participation. To contribute in the formation of a youth with social awareness and selfesteem. To develop and realize various social service projects and to transform the energy of youth toward social benefit.
